berkeley garden mid to late July

just some photos as the garden's progressed, mid to late July.

trying to grow the cucumbers up the trellis. not as successful as i'd hoped. STILL haven't been as successful as i think i could be with cucs. SIGH.

i got about 6 or 7 good ears of corn, first time ever trying. got lots of good green beans climbing up the corn and sunflowers:

layin on the ground next to tomatoes, looking up. they're at least 10 feet tall. hope they're not blocking too much sun from my tomatoes. oh well.
